As part of the Intercultural Week, a prayer for peace of various foreign communities and independent congregations took place in the Offenbach district. At the invitation of the organizers (Evangelical Church EKHN from Hessen) and the Office for Migration of the City of Langen, the Mar Thoma Community also took part in the prayer group. With our congregation seven other congregations of different faiths and nationalities took part on 15th September 2019 in the prayer for peace. The venue and host this year was the DITIB Mosque Ulu Cami in Langen. After the group prayer from each congregations there was an open and friendly dialogue with all participants. A guided tour through the mosque formed the beautiful conclusion of the common peaceful prayer group.
